Business Development Lead
Adam has over fifteen years’ experience working in marine science and industry focussed roles for both private and public sector organisations. His background encompasses technical, operational and managerial functions that have extended from the laboratory to the field. In addition to a background in marine science and applied scientific understanding, Adam has a proven track record in project management for marine environmental surveys in the offshore environment both in the UK and internationally; including multi-million pound projects in the west African region. At Cefas, Adam has a lead role in the management of the business development team, structuring opportunities through our partnerships and wider market engagement that allow Cefas to collaborate and strengthen its world-class capability while supporting UK Government Strategy. These partnerships are predominantly at the Government to Government level, spanning regions of the UK and Europe, Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Middle East and the Pacific; where there is a shared commitment to realise healthy and productive oceans, seas and rivers and safe and sustainable seafood.
